"Favorites" sounded pretty positive when you clicked on it, didn't it?  This page  should really be titled "Favorite Things to Bitch About".

The War With Iraq

US Military dead: over 2100 and climbing

Budget Deficit deepened by: 29 Billion (with a "B") dollars and climbing

Weapons of Mass Destruction found: 0 and holding

Proven Ties to Al Qaeda: 0 and holding

This pretty much says it all.  Our credibility has been permanently tarnished so that, when we really need the backing of the world, countries will be understandably skeptical of any claims we make.

This was all written in March 2002 and it still holds true.  Despite all of the lofty talk about "fighting terrorism" there is still no reason to think that Iraq was a credible threat to the United States.

George Bush's talk of being a Christian do not agree with his actions.  Jesus, as I understand Him, would not rally his country to war against his enemies and He surely wouldn't lie to bring it about.

We, the owners of this democracy, allowed this to happen and we will suffer the consequences for a long, long time.
